Questions before you buy
- Is it really a one-time payment?
- Yes. You pay $24 once and the journal is yours. No subscription, no renewal, no upsell, no feature locked behind a second paywall.
- What exactly do I get?
- A download containing The Eternal Journal as a single self-contained HTML file, a second untouched copy to give away, the manuals, and the supporting documents.
- How many devices can I use it on?
- Up to three of your own personal devices, plus the separate gift copy for someone else.
- What if I change my mind?
- Thirty days, money back, one e-mail. No questions asked.
- Does the refund cover the gift copy?
- Yes. The 30-day no-questions refund covers the whole purchase, gift copy included. If you have already passed the gift on, we are not going to chase it — we just ask you to be fair.
- What about VAT or sales tax?
- Paddle is the merchant of record for the sale. They add and remit any applicable VAT or sales tax at checkout automatically, and the receipt or invoice comes from Paddle.
- How is the three-device license enforced?
- It isn't, technically. There is no activation, no license server, no phone-home — the file is yours the moment you download it. It is an honor system: we trust you to keep it to three of your own devices and one copy given away.
- What if I need help?
- Support is email only: hello@offline.ltd. It is answered by the two people who made the product, usually within a couple of business days.
- Do I need an account or internet connection?
- No. The journal runs offline in your browser and stores everything encrypted on your own device. There is nothing to sign up for.
- What happens if I clear my browser data?
- The journal is stored locally in your browser, so clearing site data removes it. Use the export button to save an encrypted copy of your journal as a file, and the open button to import it back later.
